Aims Development Foundation

Aims Development Foundation (ADF) is a non-profit, non-political, public and social welfare and rehabilitation based non-governmental voluntary organization. ADF was founded on January 2010 at Bogura, Bangladesh. After that foundation worked continuously for social welfare. It has been implementing integrated development programs and projects with the poorer section of the community with particular focus to address the quality education, zero Hunger, no poverty, health and well-being and gender equality for bringing a positive change in their livelihood and rehabilitation. And also focus on climate action. Over time ADF has gained experience and capacity by working on various development issues with technical and financial support from multifarious donors. It has gained a significant institutional competency to implement larger initiatives for achieving development objectives.

Our Belief

ADF believe that everyone bears the power of social development by which we can unitedly contribute in social development by removing illiteracy and poverty from the country.

Our Mission

To promote own resource mobilization through strengthening capacity of the poor and extreme poor people and to facilitate them in undertaking need-based activities through active participation for their gradual development towards sustainable growth and rehabilitate the old.

Our Vision

The poor and extreme poor people would be capable of building sustainable socio-economic status through active participation in diversified social actions.

Objectives and Strategies

Implicit in the program’s strategy is a belief in the efficacy of strengthening the demand side of the services equation based on felt needs of the target beneficiaries. The strategy of the development and training programs included the following:

  • Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. To take initiative for enhancing knowledge of science, literature, commerce and arts by establishing school, college and university.
  • End hunger, achieve food security, improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture for Zero Hunger.
  • End poverty in all its forms everywhere. To provide the different need-based training for improving professional efficiency, employment and improving lifestyle of poor people. Rehabilitation of old people and build old age home.
  • Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all age’s poor people. Ensure availability and sustainable management of water, sanitation and affordable modern energy for all.
  • Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
  • Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts by regulating emissions and promoting developments in renewable energy. Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development. Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.
  • To establish contacts with credit and other support services offered by the NGOs, Government agencies, international donors etc.
